Organization Information

Friends of Blue Ridge Field is a non-profit organization steering the development of Blue Ridge Field. Our goal is not only to build a park, but to enhance our entire community. We aim to improve health and wellness, to help develop closer families, and to strengthen community spirit. The park will be a unique opportunity for everyone, providing green space for children to play, families to gather, seniors to stroll, and many recreational amenities for our energetic community.

Our Core Beliefs:

There is a need to empower and foster a strong sense of community through this park.

We must help ensure a link between the past and the present - one that honors heritage and history and that inspires the future generations.

The park exemplifies the ideals of sustainability so that this existing space may reused with a strong, environmentally-friendly focus.

We must acknowledge and embrace the diverse backgrounds of the individuals involved with and benefiting from this park.

Health and physical fitness are important to ensure success throughout life.
